I using unix (AIX Version 5.2).
What command should I use to see the CPU utilization & how many bytes, %every file in the system is using to see if it needs to be reorganized/resized.

Hi ,
We are using Veritas Net Backup , I want to create a new policy for backing up the (Solaris Operating System & the file systems) only the OS. not Full backup because we have an other policy for Oracle Apps and it takes full backup for all Partitions.

I'm having this Ultra5 system with Solaris10 on it.
And when its booting, I get this warning 3 times and the system wait a considerable amount of time there before proceeding.
WARNING: add_spec: No major number for fp
And when its shutting down, I get this:

If I explicity ignore a signal (for example, SIGALRM), and this signal is generated during a blocking system call (for example, a recvfrom() ), what happens to the system call?
