SCO currently does not offer their O/S via ftp download.

I would suggest you either learn the command line entries for ftp on your windows machine... or simply download a ftp software application and install it on your windows machine..

I would suggest that you contact your system administrator. Generally root passwords are not given out to normal users. Try that first!
