Unless things have change recently Xdmcp is normally set on a standard HP-UX install. It may have been turned off. Look here - /usr/dt/config/Xaccess
The lines should look like this (uncommented):
* # grant service to all remote displays
* CHOOSER BROADCAST #any indirect host can get a chooser
If commented out then it won't work. Also, I assume your trying to use ReflectionX or Exceed to connect. I gather the settings for these should be:
http://home.tampabay.rr.com/batcave/...tes.htm#Exceed
or
http://home.tampabay.rr.com/batcave/unixnotes.htm#List
Hope this helps.
