No offense intended, but that you have to ask strongly indicates you should not attempt this migration yourself (unless it's a non-critical or personal system that can be sacrificed at the altar of education).
Aside from moving files, bootloaders may need reinstalling and system files which reference partitions may need updating (e.g. /etc/fstab). The exact procedure is system dependent.

I was using an external SCSI disk on a Sun Ultra60 (Solaris 7) as the boot device. It was labelled c1t0d0. Hi,
The disks of my servers are getting full and I need to move the /export/home partition on to a new set of disks. I already have 2 mirrored disks and have added 2 more and mirrored them after creating the filesystem on them.
Do I just need to edit the /etc/vfstab and point the /export/home... (1 Reply)

I'd like to finish setting up this system and then move the secondary or primary disk to another system that is the exact same hardware.
I've done things like this in the past with ufs and disk suite mirroring just fine. But I have yet to do it with a zfs root pool mirror.

Hello,
On 4/20/2018, we performed a disk replacement on our IBM 8202 P7 server. After the disk was rebuilt, the SAS Disk Array sissas0 showed a status of degraded. However, the pdisks in the array all show a status of active.
We did see a message in errpt. DISK ARRAY PROTECTION SUSPENDED.

NAME
quotacheck - filesystem quota consistency checker
SYNOPSIS
quotacheck [ -v ] filesystem ...
quotacheck [ -v ] -a
DESCRIPTION
Quotacheck examines each filesystem, builds a table of current disk usage, and compares this table against that recorded in the disk quota
file for the filesystem. If any inconsistencies are detected, both the quota file and the current system copy of the incorrect quotas are
updated (the latter only occurs if an active filesystem is checked).
Available options:
-a If the -a flag is supplied in place of any filesystem names, quotacheck will check all the filesystems indicated in
/etc/fstab to be read-write with disk quotas.
-v quotacheck reports discrepancies between the calculated and recorded disk quotas.
Parallel passes are run on the filesystems required, using the pass numbers in /etc/fstab in an identical fashion to fsck(8).
Normally quotacheck operates silently.
Quotacheck expects each filesystem to be checked to have a quota files named quotas located at the root of the associated file system.
These defaults may be overridden in /etc/fstab. If a file is not present, quotacheck will create it.
Quotacheck is normally run at boot time from the /etc/rc.local file, see rc(8), before enabling disk quotas with quotaon(8).
Quotacheck accesses the raw device in calculating the actual disk usage for each user. Thus, the filesystems checked should be quiescent
while quotacheck is running.

The quotas file may be named arbitrarily but must reside in the filesystem for which it contains quota information. Quotacheck will give
