It depends what version of Linux you are running. Usually it involves installing an updated kernel RPM. Let us know the exact Linux distribution you are using and someone should be able to advise you.

What do you mean by "a board"?

What do you mean by "Samsung stuffs"? Do you have a specific Samsung device in your system that requires special kernel drivers? If so, what sort is it? Does it not have documentation telling you how to install or reinstall it after kernel upgrades?
