Operating Systems HP-UX CDE server is starting, but I don't gar a graphival logon Post 302201595 by netwalker on Monday 2nd of June 2008 03:01:55 PM

vbe, thank you very much for your reply.

File /usr/dt/config/Xservers contains the not commented line:
* Local local@console /usr/bin/X11/X :0

/usr/contrib/bin/X11/dr_dt didn't gave something informative,just few warnings.

x11start starts a GUI with console wondow. Mouse and keyboard are working.

Tried also sbin/init.d/dtlogin.rc reset - it does nothing in my case.

Finally I recall the reason for disabled CDE logon. I have disconnected USB mouse for better arrangement of cables.
Now maybe it would be easier to find the problem? "/usr/dt/bin/dtconfig -e" didn't help as well.

Also I have looked at XServer an monitor configuration in SAM, all seems to be fine.

Any ideas?
