Urd is a Web-based Usenet binary download manager. It stores the newsgroup information in a MySQL database and aggregates the articles into sets of a single download (e.g. one album or movie). The Web interface can be used to search with regular expressions. It uses its own downloading daemon that has support for scheduling downloads and updating databases.

Changes:
The installer is a lot better. This release tidies up the look, and pages have a unified structure. The multi-user system has been improved, and new users can register. The version checker is built-in, and can be enabled by the user. Downloading binaries via an NZB file has been added. Support for TLS/SSL news server connections has been added. There is a speed increase of 75% when updating newsgroups. Combining files to sets was not very accurate, but a new algorithm significantly improves the quality of generated sets. The new Urd Web site was launched.
