NAME
gvfs-less - execute less using the VFS as input preprocesor SYNOPSIS
gvfs-less URI DESCRIPTION
gvfs-less executes less(1) using the VFS as input preprocesor, so less can access any resource accessible by any of the gvfs backends. OPERANDS
The following operands are supported: URI Specifies the file location in standard URI format. EXAMPLES
Example 1: Use less with a local file example% gvfs-less file:///etc/release Example 2: Use less with a remote file example% gvfs-less http://www.sun.com/ ENVIRONMENT VARIABLES
See environ(5) for descriptions of the following environment variables: NLSPATH. EXIT STATUS
The exit value 0 is returned regardless of success or failure. FILES
The following files are used by this application: /usr/bin/gvfs-less Execute less with the content provided by the VFS system ATTRIBUTES

gnomevfs-info URI DESCRIPTION
gnomevfs-info is obsolete. It has been superseded by gvfs-info.
