Well... to be honest, I've never worked with xp_cmdshell
on Sun but could this be related to the following bug...

SYMPTOMS
The last line of a command's output is not returned by the built-in extended stored procedure xp_cmdshell if that line does not end in a carriage return/line feed (CR/LF).


WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, add a CR/LF to the end of the data sent to stdout by the executed command.

Error while executing the shell script

Hi Gurus, The following script fails with the error 'command not found' while trying to execute. As the error indicates, the script fails at ROW#30 where the EOF is defined for SQL statement. SYNOPSIS

DESCRIPTION

     The url driver provides support for USB Ethernet adapters based on the Realtek RTL8150L USB-ether bridge chip.

     The url driver supports the following adapters:

	   GreenHouse GH-USB100B

	   Sitecom LN013

DIAGNOSTICS

     url%d: watchdog timeout  A packet was queued for transmission and a transmit command was issued, however the device failed to acknowledge the
     transmission before a timeout expired.
