Hi,
it doesnt matter if you have 1 or 10 digits scanning as long as your scan to free ratio is decent - IBM says anything above 4:1 is reason for concern. So if you want to monitor anything than monitor the scan to free ratio rather than the absolute number.

Hi All,
Great forums, a wealth of knowledge. We have just replaced our server room screen with a nice 15" LCD. We run CDE as the gui at the console. I think the refresh rate is too high for the LCD as I get an out of range error message on the screen.

last night i want to do oracle full backup with expdp when i switch to oracle it hangs,it looks like:
su - oracle
there is nothing feedback and hang ,but su - root work fine.
