make file (include files path)
Hi All,
In make file i want to include header files from my local directory and if it did not find in local directory i want to include from network directory. can any help me how i can do this?.
here is the code
INCLUDE=${include}/
this is point to network dir how i can add option that it should look first in local dir and network dir.

make: *** No rule to make target `/usr/include/iso/stdio_iso.h', needed by `.test.d'. Stop.
The mentioned folder `/usr/include/iso/' doesnt exist in solaris5.7 sparc that i am using.

When I do
find . -name "*.txt" -size +0 -exec ls {} \;
I get something like
./lpi_stdout.txt
./lpi_stderr.txt
What would I need to do or pipe it into to strip off those first two characters so I just get
lpi_stdout.txt
lpi_stderr.txt
?

Hi all
I want to compile a source gt_util.c into a lo file,
I use
libtool gcc -g -O -c gt_util.c -I./include
but it prompts me :
cannot determin name of library object from 'include'
how should I use the tool to compile a source to .lo file?

I would like to modify my .profile PATH to include all subdirectories of the directory I specify. For example, right now I have
PATH=$HOME/tier1

Now, i want to add a column in the left in which the values of this column increase by 0.4 , for example:

NAME
gvfs-monitor-dir - monitor the change of a directory content using the VFS system
SYNOPSIS
gvfs-monitor-dir URI
DESCRIPTION
gvfs-monitor-dir monitors the change content of a directory using the VFS system. If anything changes inside the directory, gvfs-monitor-
dir will print a message informing of the event.
OPERANDS
The following operands are supported:
URI Specifies the directory location in standard URI format.
EXAMPLES
Example 1: Monitor a local directory
example% gvfs-monitor-dir file:///tmp/example
ENVIRONMENT VARIABLES
See environ(5) for descriptions of the following environment variables: NLSPATH.
EXIT STATUS
The exit value 0 is returned regardless of success or failure.
