Hi,
I'm under Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS release 3 (Taroon)
and I want to go from compat-gcc-7.3-2.96.122
to compat-gcc-7.3-2.96.128.
Then I downloaded compat-gcc-7.3-2.96.128 and I issued :
up2date -i compat-gcc
But I receive :

Does anyone else think RHEL's way of getting software updates to their customers (via the up2date utility) is not a friendly process?
UP2DATE is fine to use, but it either has to be connected to the internet to get updates, or a "satellite server" has to be setup ( which ocsts more money).

I already got my server listed in the up2date redhat network and there is security updates and so on. the thing is I would like to know, whether is there any steps on to download it in 1 server and apply it to the other servers?? so something...
