Modem Installation
First things first, I am new to Unix. I've worked with Linux, and SCO. This will be my first real attempt to run a Unix system at home.
I have installed Caldera Openunix 8 on a PIII 350. The system seams to be working fine. I have US Robotics 56k modem installed, and configured in the PNP section of Sysadmin. The modem shows up as I would expect. When I go to the modem section and try to add a modem, none are recognised. If I try to manually add the modem it only allows me to select Com1 (dev\00m).
I have actually tried to manually configure the modem using the pins on the card. I can set the IRQ, and the port but I still can't access the port from with in Unix.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mark
