Remove files over the Network

I want to use the rm command to remove files from a networked computer. On windows I would just run: del /q /f \\sever\folder\file.txt. Is there a comperable way to do this in UNIX?

Thanks
Andrew

Hi Andrew,

You can remove files in a networked computer by using SSH

Command : ssh <remote-computer> 'cd /server/folder/';'rm file.txt'
