Print particular word

Hi,

How to print only the particular word instead of whole.

Code:
ls /dev|grep -i asm
asm_hdisk1
hdisk2_asm
hdisk3_asm
asm_hdisk4

Need output to print only the keyword "asm" alone. To confirm asm disks are there other than junk information

use: grep -o

In your case:
Code:
ls /dev|grep -io asm
