bin or I or A are not sftp options normally, unless you are using an off brand windows-based product like GlobalScape FTP - which I would heartily discourage.

the syntax for get is
Code:
get remotfilename  [localfilename]

[filename] == optional
So:
Code:
get file1 file2

means you do get file1 but it gets named file2 on your local box
use wildcards like * or ?
Code:
# do this:
get log.*
# or this
get log.?
# or do this
get log.1
get log.2
get log.3

You can only have 1 source filename (second parameter is the destination filename), but you can use globbing (e.g. get log.*).

Hi All, How do you get around SFTP not having the 'cat' command to set up scripts to run cron jobs for passwords?
