I have to test some user priviliges. The goal is to be sure that an unauthorized user can't restart some modules (ssh, mysql etc...).
I'm trying to automate it with a shell script but in same cases I got the syslog broadcast message.

Not sure if this is the right place to post it but..
I have a requirement to set Caps lock and/or Num lock on and off via a Cron job.
Now I have working scripts that do the job, but as soon as X starts up the jobs no longer run (well they appear to, but Caps lock and Num lock do not... (0 Replies)

I am trying to set up a dual boot system with Red Hat EL 5.2 and Windows XP Pro. I have a separate disk for each OS. Grub is on the same disk as redhat(the primary disk). I know that Windows is installed correctly because if I force a load on the secondary disk Windows loads correctly.... (0 Replies)

I've set up a PXE boot server and I'm having a slight snag in the booting process. On the client machine, DHCP renders fine and TFTP seems to begin but then the system hangs. I watched this done a long time ago, but cannot find it anywhere. I need to alias the boot device "disk" to /sbus@7,0/QLGC,isp@0,10000/sd@c,0
I think I need to set "use-nvramrc?" to true, and then create an alias within the nvramrc to point disk to the boot disk, but this is the step I cannot... (3 Replies)

SYNOPSIS

void dictReleaseLock(dictCtx dict, void *lock);
ARGUMENTS
dict - dictionary containing value to release.
lock - lock to release.
DESCRIPTION
Releases the lock on the value associated with <lock>. Once the lock is released, the dictCleanupFunc callback can be called for the value
(see dictCleanup()).
MT-Level: Safe if <dict> thread-safe.
RETURN VALUE
None.
