Help required Unix and Web page Integration.
HI guys ,

I want to create a simple website which can communicate with unix server.
For example i want to run some command on a unix server through a website.

What will be the best approach to do the same.

Kindly help .

1. Install and configure apache.
2. Enable CGI (will be disabled by defualt)
3. Accept the command as cgi argument from GUI and get it executed through perl script using backticks/system command or using Shell module.

Remember, this kind of mechanism is what hackers loved to exploit the system, unless properly handled.

Thank you very much friend .Being new to this technology i would highly appreciate if any guidance link is provided.
I want to establish this setup in our internal network so hacker risk can be tolerated.
