Can you tell me how to capture the post output to a file or do I have to type it all into a file?
I have a console monitor but no null modem cable to attach to ttya

I set diag-switch? to true and diag-level to max powered off the machine and powered on and booted the box but did not see any output from POST???

You should do a reset-all from the OBP before you power off. Once the system return to ok prompt , verify the param again by using printenv and then use the power-off command. on again and try

OK, by what means are you connected to the storage? fibre channel, scsi? does luxadm command works to detect the disks? firmware updated , if you're using the HBA card? Smilie

Jumpstart Solaris 8 on Sun Blade 150 Hangs

We had to replace a hard drive in one of our Sun Blade 150s, but now it hangs during the Jumpstart. It will show 1 or 2 Timeout for ARP/RARP messages and then start the spinning numbers.
