Hi All
How to get the difference between two dates in no of days ??? My date format is like this YYYY/MM/DD. I have to get the no of days between two dates in the given format.
I tried to search the forum but nothing came up similar to my requitement. Your help will be appreciated.

Hi all.
My question may seems to be similar to one that already been here. But i need a little other solution.
I have two dates in format dd/mm/yyyy. I need to find number of days between them. I need to do it in bash script.

Hi,
Is there any way I can get the difference between two dates in terms of days?
I have used this method so far, but I cant format it in terms of days.
@a=&DateCalc($date1,$date2,0);
The o/p that I am getting is sort of like this:
+0:0:0:4:0:0:0

i need to find files lower and bigger that one date i pass, i search in the man find, but i didn't find anything, the only that i find is the parameter -mtime, in this parameter i can pass a number of days, but i need to know the difference between dates, any built-in function for do... My question is, there is a direct command for get the elapsed time between the 2 dates, or I have to find another way?

tartdates - Special date configuration for LinuxTaRT DESCRIPTION
LinuxTaRT uses a configuration file called specialdates to enable the user to display a specific tagline on certain special dates. The name and location of this file is specified in the LinuxTaRT configuration file ~/.tartrc, but is usually: ~/.tartdates PARAMETERS
Each line of the special date file consists of a day of the year expressed as a two digit month, a forward-slash (/), a two digit date, a colon (:) and a line of text. mm/dd:tagline text Any line that does not conform to this specification will be treated as a comment. Comments may also be specified by prefixing text with a # symbol. Using this method, you can place a comment behind a date line. EXAMPLES
01/01:Happy New Year!! Will use "Happy New Year!!" as the tagline when the date is January 1st. 12/25:Merry Christmas to all! Displays "Merry Christmas to all!" as your tagline on Christmas day. FILES
