file name got cut when sending attachments using uuencode & msmail
I am using the following command to send a zip file as an attachment to my internet email-id.
uuencode ABC_DEFG_HIJ.zip ABC_DEFG_HIJ.zip | mail -s "attachment from shell"
pal@yahoo.com
Eventhough i have given the attached file as 'ABC_DEFG_HIJ.zip', when i receive the mail in my internet email, the attached file has its name as 'ABC_DEFG.zip', but not as 'ABC_DEFG_HIJ.zip'.
ie. _HIJ got cut from the name of the attached file.
I need the file name as 'ABC_DEFG_HIJ.zip' in the receiving end also.
Thanks in advance.
