I am trying to check to see if a file exists on a ftp server, well, I know that cant be done, atleast directly, So I came up with this small script
ftp -n $HOST <<END_SCRIPT
quote USER $USER
quote PASS $PASSWD
cd public_html/crap
dir $FILE
quit
END_SCRIPT

Hi all,
I did some searching in this forum but can't find anything that matches the issue I'm bumping heads with.
On a CentOS4/Postfix (and bash everywhere) mail gateway box I run a command periodically to purge the Postfix queue of messages "From:MAILER-DAEMON".

Hi all, I'd like to capture the output from the 'top' command to monitor my CPU and Mem utilisation.Currently my command isecho date

sftp-server - SFTP server subsystem SYNOPSIS

sftp-server implements the server side of the SSH File Transfer Protocol as defined in the IETF draft-ietf-secsh-filexfer. sftp-server is a subsystem for sshd(1M) and must not be run directly. There are no options or config settings. To enable the sftp-server subsystem for sshd add the following to /etc/ssh/sshd_config: Subsystem sftp /usr/lib/ssh/sftp-server See sshd_config(4) for a description of the format and contents of that file. There is no relationship between the protocol used by sftp-server and the FTP protocol (RFC 959) provided by in.ftpd. EXIT STATUS
