Hi Rudi,
On the command line I'd assume something along the lines of head -1 ff* | tr “-“ “/“ to get the dates but not sure how I can then take this forward inside a script after that.

DESCRIPTION
prints on standard output the first count lines of each of the specified files, or of the standard input. If count is omitted it defaults
to 10.
If multiple files are specified, outputs before each file a line of this form:

Options
The quantity of output is measured in bytes.
The number of units of output.
