I'm hoping this is an easy question, but I'm having a weird problem trying to simply copy and paste text from MS Windows (XP) Notepad and then pasting into vi or vim in AIX. When I type "oslevel" I get "5.3.0.0". The problem is that once the text is pasted, there are sections of text... (2 Replies)

I have two servers. Both running same version 4.3.3 TL11.
On one of them efix IX85104 is installed but missing on another server.
I have tried to find it and download it but it's just too old.
Is there any way that I could extract/copy this efix from server where it's present... (1 Reply)

ld - link editor, dynamic link editor SYNOPSIS
/usr/ucb/ld [options] DESCRIPTION
/usr/ucb/ld is the link editor for the BSD Compatibility Package. /usr/ucb/ld is identical to /usr/bin/ld (see ld(1)) except that BSD libraries and routines are included before the base libraries and routines. OPTIONS
/usr/ucb/ld accepts the same options as /usr/bin/ld, with the following exceptions: -Ldir Add dir to the list of directories searched for libraries by /usr/bin/ld. Directories specified with this option are searched before /usr/ucblib and /usr/lib. -Y LU,dir Change the default directory used for finding libraries. This option can have unexpected results, and should not be used. FILES
