Hi ,
I have three funcions f1, f2 and f3 .
f1 calls f2 and f2 calls f3 .
I have a global variable "period" which i want to pass to f3 .
Can i pass the variable directly in the definition of f3 ?

I have situation where i need to automate transferring 10000+ files using sftp.
while read line

echo "-mput /home/student/Desktop/folder/$line/* /cygdrive/e/folder/$line/">>sftpCommand.txt

sftp -b sftpCommand.txt stu@192.168.2.1

Hello,
I have a weird issue, I have RHEL 5.7 running with openssh5.2 where sftpgroup OS group is chroot. I see the difference difference in timestamp on files, when I login via ssh and SFTP, I see four hour difference, is something missing in my configuration.

I had the below sftp script working perfectly but the problem is I am not able to send the echo statements .

Input to the script is file name and file directory (where file is located)
I am reading the input parameters as follows:
FILENAME=$1
FILEDIR=$2

This package is a wrapper around Net::SFTP::Foreign that provides an API (mostly) compatible with that of Net::SFTP. If the ":supplant" tag is used, this module installs also wrappers on the "Net::SFTP" and Net::SFTP::Attributes packages so no other parts of the program have to modified in order to move from Net::SFTP to Net::SFTP::Foreign.
