Guys, you gotta keep your eyes on the prize. Folks (who claim to be experts in such things) say that the Sun will expand into a red giant; and, when that happens, the Earth's orbit will be inside the Sun. (That should mop up our mess pretty quick!) So if you see the Sun expanding and someone offers you a ride to Mars, are you really going to respond, "No thanks, we'd just mess up Mars. So we'll just stay here and fry."?

Hi,
I want to add \n as a EOF at the end of file if it does't exist in a single command. How to do this?
when I use command
echo "1\n" > a.txt
and
od -c a.txt

How does it differentiate \n and eof in this case?
