Operating Systems Linux SuSE Installin Suse 11 - Mouse issue using Remote Control Post 302494077 by cjcox on Friday 4th of February 2011 08:01:42 PM

The problem (not a fix) has to do with synchronization with the mouse device. Others have posted workarounds for install. I don't have an IBM BladeCenter to play with, but I know that KVMs can certainly cause this problem. As you switch from head to head, sync is always lost (causing erratic mousing and random button pushing to occur)... so after install I always find myself adding psmouse.proto=imps and psmouse.resetafter=1 to my kernel boot line in grub. With that said, you need to engage a screensaver before you switch so that when you switch back you can "click" into the screen saver and force the reset. Just something to mess with.. might not be useful in your case.
