Solaris 10 hba firmware upgrades need help please
Greetings
Have some solaris 10 servers that need hba firmware upgrades, but I am told that those are in the Jumbo Patch Bundle, Which would be great except /var on this server is not large enough to run the patch bundle due to the way sun changes this and know requires a boat load of free space.
Please save comments on trying to redo var to get more space we are working on that
Really need to know if this can be done outside of the patch bundle.
Many thanks

Hi,
I'm trying to determine which HBA cards are installed on my Solaris 10 (Sun-Fire-V240) machine.
The relevant data I have is below, but from it I cannot ascertain for sure if I have Emulex 10000 or 11000 HBA cards.
Can anyone suggest how to determine my HBA hardware ?
Thanks,
Ron.
