help to move from windows to linux as a developer
Hi,
I am working as a c++/MFC developer from last 3 years on windows, recently i came across LINUX due to some small involvement in c++ projet @ linux platform. I really found it fascinated and found more challenging rather than developing the applications on windows. I really want to go more deeper into it , so please suggest me that how should i proceed as a c++ developer , i am more intrested into development rather than system administartion , so please suggest me that what are the basic books i should get , to get it going. And what are the main advanced topics i should concentrate on. Please suggest...

Tk_MainLoop - loop for events until all windows are deleted
SYNOPSIS

Tk_MainLoop()

DESCRIPTION
Tk_MainLoop is a procedure that loops repeatedly calling Tcl_DoOneEvent. It returns only when there are no applications left in this
process (i.e. no main windows exist anymore). Most windowing applications will call Tk_MainLoop after initialization; the main execution
of the application will consist entirely of callbacks invoked via Tcl_DoOneEvent.
