Installing AIX 4.3, pseries
I'm new with UNIX, i have a pseries server from IBM and i need to install AIX 4.3, i never used wyse terminal or AIX, i need help to know how to install it, i have the server and the wyse i get in into the aixterm, over com1 but i don't know wich command use or what to do to install it.....

I have a p570 server running on AIX5.3.0.0 TL04.
Recently I have received a 3590 tape drive with library and I am wonder whether I can make use of this tape drive for my normal daily backup of AIX 5.3.0.0 in p570 server.

I'm getting "xlc: not found" error compiling code using 'make oracle' command on IBM AIX. C/C++ compiler is installed, but 'xlc' still missing. Could you please tell me which OS package contains the 'xlc' executable?

when I boot I get an E1DC error code. I've looked it up and it says that this error occurs during the firmware check. But the error is called "Dynamic Console Selection" .
1- Machine stopped at LCD led display = E1DC = CA00E1DC

penn-install - installer for the pennmush flavor mush server
SYNOPSIS
penn-install [OPTION]
DESCRIPTION
This manual page documents briefly the penn-install command. It was written for the Debian distribution because the original program does
not have a manual page.
penn-install is a program that installs the pennmush server in the user directory from which it is ran. It provides all necessary data and
configuration files for each user account it is setup for, as well as the restart script needed to initiate an instance of the pennmush
server process.
penn-install itself should only be run once per user to install the necessary files and links. All updating of the pennmush server should
be done on a global level by the system administrator.
OPTIONS
These programs follow the usual GNU command line syntax, with long options starting with two dashes (`-'). A summary of options is
included below.
-h, --help
display this help and exit
-v, --version
output version information and exit
