question about using tr command
Hello all:

I'm trying to use the tr command to change some text in a file, but it is not working as expected. Here's what I'm trying:

tr 'INVOIC01' 'INVOICZZ' < inputfile > outputfile

It looks to be changing not just the entire string, but any characters within. I just want to change the exact string.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

SYNOPSIS

       gst-thumbnail [gst-std-options] inputfile outputfile

DESCRIPTION

       Creates a PNG thumbnail for a video file, used by Nautilus.
