How can map a directory from a windows system to Solaris System?

There is two ways:
-Setting up Samba on your Solaris system to share your directory to Windows world.
- Using an NFS client on your Windows client and share your directory on your Solaris system with NFS.

Hi,

You will find all information on Samba on www.samba.org. There is a good list of How to Smilie)

For NFS client, you can try HUMMINGBIRD. I don't know others editor.

This morning when I started my system the following occured: During the HP-UX Startup in progress sessions, when it gets down to "NFS Server" it altenates between "wait" and "busy" and that's as far as it gets. Can this be bypassed ? Any help will be greatly appreciated (7 Replies)
