I think the current system is working fine.
However, the idea of Moderator/Admin "thanks" could add something to the quality - as a badge of honor for some.
I don't know. We already have special advisors, which is a badge of honor. I think an extra M/A thanks would complicate the simple system we have now...

(The current "solved" tagging done by any member would remain too.)
However, that's probably too much of a programming job.
I am not keen on the "solved" flag as a triple thank you either, since the can be multiple solutions to a problem, but perhaps differing in quality, some maybe not even worthy of a regular thanks. And why would a thanks for giving a user deeper insight be any less valuable than a straight-up solution? If anything I would think the former should be more valuable..

@Don.......The very fact that members can write "Don said this" and "Don said that" (without the Cragun) and everybody (all pros anyway) knows they mean you says it all really doesn't it!!!
Yes you are correct about Don. But I really want to say personelly I will follow your posts too along with all admins/moderators too. I can say the following.

The number of useful posts is directly proportional to knowledge increment.
Number of thanks growing is directly proportional to our improvement.
EDIT: OMG corona is about to complete 20'000 posts. It is really a big achievement, don't want to leave this opportunity, will congratulate corona.
