What is on Your Mind?

Hello!

We have installed a new experimental toolbar. If you don't like it, you can hide it in your UserCP options; ; or you can simply "minimize it" with the button on the far right of the toolbar.


In the next post, I'll describe what the toolbar is, why it is ......

First of all, you will notice a Link Menu on the left. We can put any site links you might like in that menu. Please offer your suggestions.

Also, we have a My Bookmarks feature in the toolbar. In the past, a few forum members mentioned they wanted to bookmark some of their favorite discussions, so this might help.

Then, there is some standard social buttons for FB, Twitter and Others (Share).

Also, there is a Twitter "news ticker" showing the last 10 posts in our @unixlinux twitter feed.

On the right side, for now, is a link to our YouTube Tutorials, which currently only has the popular "How to Use Code Tags" video by Scott. We need more of these... our bad.

Then, there is a link to our Twitter feed and some other stuff.

In my next post, I'll give more into on the toolbar itself and a link to other apps for the toolbar. Feel free to suggest additions or changes or deletions in this thread.

About the toolbar... it's called wibiya and it can be configured for more apps.

The link to the toobar apps is here, so if you see any apps for the toolbar you would like to try, just post back in this thread. If there is a lot of interest, we may install it!

As always, your ideas are welcome; and if you simply don't like these types of things, you can easily turn it off (hide) in your UserCP (see first post in thread); or you can "minimize it" with the button on the far right of the toolbar.
