I haven't found a place where you can have a list of commands on Linux. Some "commands" come from the shell you are using (most probably "bash"). Most others are actually executable programs (not really "commands" anyway) installed on your Linux system. The list of executable programs installed vary from system to system, so it's impossible to give you a complete list of "commands" as you mentioned.

But you may try here for a list of online manual pages that are available on a typical Red hat system, but be prepared most manpages are not immediately easy-to-read, especially for beginners:

But you should already have these man pages on your hard disk anyway.

Try Google!!!

Sorry to be blunt, but a simple Google search would return a million websites; here's three of them:

http://www.bsd.org/unixcmds.html
http://www.emba.uvm.edu/CF/basic.html
http://www.indiana.edu/~uitspubs/b017/

shell prog

just use the command "man" which will guide u to list all the commands.

savagebeast,

Here's a couple of lists to get you started:

Good luck!
