Computer external display redhat 7.2

Hello all,

I have a laptop with redhat7.2 installed with Gforce4 video card and using Xfree86 version 4. I wanted to know if any one has been able to have the displayto output to a projector. If so can you pass on your wisdom? THANKS

I thought that most projecters act like normal monitors on the computer side but I may be wrong. I did use one to check the vido card on my laptop (there was a line of bad pixles and I wanted to see if it was the LCD) and no configuation was nessery.

Hope this helps!
