Data host lock up .- extended

hey fellows, hope you can help me, in advance thanks.
I work on a sco unix 3.2 system and I've had a host lock up error message, I wan to know if there is a releasse note for an upgrade where I can see this bug is reported and fixed.
Can somebody help me?

Thank you very much KillerServ, the thing that the whole host is locked up just like frozen, no connection by any othet tty can go through; somebody told me that the lock up is common bug at sco unix V3.2 have you any information on this matter?

If a tty (terminal) is locked, and the file /etc/default/login(???)
declares that root can bypass the terminal lock, you'll get something
like that. So,one way you can solve it, go look for the lock files:

#Reports login and tty C2 locks.
cd /tcb/files/auth
users=`find . -type f -print`			# get list of users.
for i in $users # for each user.
    if (grep ':u_lock:' $i > /dev/null )	# any acct locks?
    then					# tell someone
        echo "Acct: `basename $i` is locked"

    if (grep ':u_type=retired:' $i > /dev/null )  # account retired?
    then					  # tell someone
        echo "Acct: `basename $i` is retired"

# test for tty locks?
if (grep ':t_lock:' /etc/auth/system/ttys > /dev/null)
    # get the ttys with the locks
    echo "Terminals:`grep ':t_lock:' /etc/auth/system/ttys \
    | cut -d: -f1`\nare locked"

This should identify which tty's have lock files. Use scoadmin to remove
the locks or just manually hack the remain of the stupid C2 security
abomination into submission.
