When using to backup a system I can do it fine. But how can I restore what I backuped up?

Old 05-16-2002 sounds like a custom script. Can you specify which backup tool it is calling? Read the man page on that utility and it will probably give you plenty of information on the restoration counterpart.

what command is used to take the back up is it tar or someother command like the ufsdump in sun OS ????
