Error Mandrake Linux Settings
I use Unix at work, and thought that I should finally install it on my computer, just as a play around. Plus I am into programming C and various other languages. I have never used Mandrake linux, and to be honest it was just a freebie that I found that I thought I would give a quick try. I have Unix installed on my Laptop that I use for work when i go on call... but besides that Mandrake is totally different!

I have a slight problem... I can't seem to find the correct driver for my Graphics card. I found my monitor but not my graphics card. i am forced to use a generic driver, but this only gives me crappy resolutions etc. I want something a bit more appealing... something i can look at and not be scared by the disgraceful settings. I have tried to change the resolution, but it just doesn't like it at all... Or it just defaults back to 640 x 480. Please help, can I download graphics drivers from anywhere for Unix? Is there another way?

Try www.xfree86.org. They have all the updated drivers for Linux.
