Hi,
Thank you for your answers.
OK, uname -a gives me that:
HP-UX hpn005 B.11.00 U 9000/800 651369353 unlimited-user license
I use X OnNet to work on the unix machine, and it (the unix) doesn't have internet connection.
So I downloaded the packages I wanted and FTP'ed them to the unix.
I got over the packages dir, but now a new problem arose, the list of available packages says the the package version is 1.21, but the one I downloaded it 1.27 cc-mode) so I can't add it. Basically I need to update the list of package, however, I do not have internet access. I edited the name of the available packages to be 1.27, but it shouts for different checksum.
If you can tell me the checksum of cc-mode 1.27, and/or tell me how to compute the checksum, please let me know.
thanks
