Can I run unix in the same partition with windows?

Can I run unix in the same partition with windows xp? Because I have one for now.. Thank you for answers.

1. Not really.

2. You can run various "LiveCDs" which don't touch your harddisk.

3. You can run Cygwin or Microsofts Services For UNIX which provide a UNIX like environment on Windows.

Another good way of getting good UNIX functionality under Windows XP is Dave Korn's UWIN package.
