Disk formating

i have to repartition some of my filesystems ...
I have just one HDD ....
df -k gives this :-
Filesystem kbytes used avail capacity Mounted on
/dev/dsk/c0t0d0s0 830107 45532 726468 6% /
/dev/dsk/c0t0d0s1 1987399 785728 1142050 41% /usr
/proc 0 0 0 0% /proc
fd 0 0 0 0% /dev/fd
mnttab 0 0 0 0% /etc/mnttab
/dev/dsk/c0t0d0s3 1032327 13352 957036 2% /var
swap 644472 0 644472 0% /var/run
/dev/dsk/c0t0d0s4 8935901 4957835 3888707 57% /data
/dev/dsk/c0t0d0s6 96975 18367 68911 22% /tmp
/dev/dsk/c0t0d0s5 4032142 585127 3406694 15% /opt
/dev/dsk/c0t0d0s7 385463 346418 499 100% /export/home
ocd:/data 8769437 7188698 1493045 83% /ocd

i have to reduce space in /opt and give it to /export/home ...

Can I do this without harming the root and /usr partitions ...

If you don't touch the disk slices that root and /usr reside on you should be fine.

But you will will have to backup and restore your /opt and /export/home slices before you resize your partitioning.
