Changing to Protocol 2 in OpenSSH 3.5

To check the protocol level, we need to change its
entry in sshd_config. Below are my 2 servers with
OpenSSH as 3.7.1. I have changed its protocol to 1 and
reboot the box and below is the output

sysp02adm@sysp02 # telnet localhost 22
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to localhost.
Escape character is '^]'.
SSH-1.5-OpenSSH_3.7.1p2

I changd it to 2 and below is the output and reboot
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to localhost.
Escape character is '^]'.
SSH-2.0-OpenSSH_3.7.1p2

Noticed the difference of the SSH-1.5 and SSH-2.0

Below is my another server with OpenSSH as 3.5
sysp03adm@sysp03
telnet localhost 22
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to localhost.
Escape character is '^]'.
SSH-2.0-OpenSSH_3.5p1

Both sshd_config and ssh_config are the same for sysp01 and sysp03. Both are in solaris 8.

1) Basically, i wanted to switch to protocol 2 in
sysp03. But as the above messages suggest, i failed to
do so. Any advise?
