hi,
I have a netbook with duo boot (win7 starter + ubuntu 12.04).
I tested it only in ubuntu and I could not set illumination by pressing "function+right arrow" or "function+left arrow" buttons.
Has anybody ever faced similar problem?

I use the shortcut keys CTRL-a and CTRL-e to move cursor to start and end of line in shell prompt alot. But recently what happened to my system i don't know only CTRL-a is working not CTRL-e . I've generated and posted pub. keys in the source system and the target. However, it is still prompting me for the password.
Steps that I have taken.
1. Generated ssh keys : ssh-keygen. It created two files.

I am working on SunOS 5.10 from remote terminal using putty.

In vi editor when in insert mode arrow keys are not working for cursor movement instead they print A B C and D.

NAME
dahdi_cfg - configures DAHDI kernel modules from /etc/dahdi/system.conf
SYNOPSIS
dahdi_cfg [-c CFG_FILE] [-s] [-f] [-t] [-v [-v ... ] ]
dahdi_cfg -h
DESCRIPTION
dahdi_cfg configures DAHDI interface cards from a config file.
You generally need to run it with a valid configurations in order for DAHDI modules to work properly.
It must be run to configure every DAHDI span. Normally it is run from the DAHDI init script.
OPTIONS
-c CFG_FILE
Use an alternative configuration file instead of /etc/dahdi/system.conf
-s
Only shutdown spans.
-f
Always configure every channel, even if it appears not to have changed.
-t
Test mode. Don't do anything, just report what you wanted to do.
-v
Be more verbose. Add extra v-s for extra verbosity.
-h
Display a brief help message.
FILES
/etc/dahdi/system.conf
The default location for the configuration file.
