Please be more specific about what "is not working" means.

What shell are you using from the command line?

What error are you receiving? (If any - it's just as important for us to know if you get no response from the shell)

i have created below script

script name = "first"

Code:
#!/bin/bash

isumid 98765432

and i go back to command prompt and run it like below

Code:
script > sh -x first

getting below output

Code:
+ isumid 98765432
first: line 2: isumid: command not found
script>

but if i give like below

Code:
script>isumid 98765432 "it is working"

Please use code and icode tags. Is it just first? Not first.sh, first.bat, something like that?

What happens if you type:

script>./first

Always use absolute path if you are trying to run an executable that is not defined in PATH environment variable in BASH. So you should try:-
Code:
/path_of_isumid/isumid 98765432

Or add absolute path of executable isumid to PATH env variable.
Code:
export PATH="$PATH:/path_of_isumid"

I hope this helps.

if i give script>./first - it is saying

-sh: ./first: permission denied
