I am creating a file with all the source folders included in my git branch, when i grep for the used source, i found source included as relative path instead of absolute path, how can convert relative path to absolute path without changing directory to that folder and using readlink -f ? ... 4. What is on Your Mind?
I wrote by accident:
cd .
and even hit ENTER.
Then I realized this is probably the most useless command that you can imagine. Yes, perhaps it could assert that there is still a working filesystem, but I am not sure about it.
What do you think?

1 NFS client C1 (linux redhat 5) writes a file fic.dat on a NFS SERVER S (RH 5)
