sendmail[1234]: [ID 702911 mail.alert] dowork: sl_hrtob failed

When changing my server back as the mail server, I get the following error:

sendmail[12345]: [ID 702911 mail.alert] dowork: sl_hrtob failed

When looking at previous posts similar to my issue, none of them work. I do not have DNS and have ensured that the mail domain is correct.

Can anyone else help out with this?

What Operating System and version are you running? Is this a Trusted system?

What changes were made to make the server first not a mail server and then a mail server again.

Are you 100% certain that you have pasted the error message correctly? Particularly the sl_hrtob bit .
Where are you seeing this error message?
What posts show a similar problem?

Solaris 10 5/08 s10x_uwos_10 X86 yes it's a trusted system.
Another box was put on the network (as a test) and was changed to handle mail; then when it was take offline, we changed it back. I'm getting mail, just the error keeps happening.
Yes I'm certain I put in the right error message. it does say sl_hrtob fail. The messages are in /var/adm/messages
The posts i've seen are related to the 702911 mail.alert error

I believe I solved my own issue.
I looked into /var/spool/mqueue and noticed some mail sitting in the queue from more than a week ago.
- I disabled sendmail
- I cleared the queue
- I enabled sendmail and no more errors!!
