Port 7001/2 issues
Folks,

We have a Sun280R (SunOS 5.8) with Weblogic 6.1 and until recently everything was fine! (This is a development box).

Weblogic runs on port 7001, but everytime I try to start it, it just hangs. One thought was that some thing was holding on to port 7001 and I killed all know Weblogic processes and rebooted the server. Still the same issue!

I changed the port to 8001 and viola!!! it starts!

How do I find out whatz happening? What is holding up the port 7001. (We cannot change the port on which WL is ruinning due to config lock down). Do I have to powerdown the server?

Any directions please?

Log files are very helpful.

What is the name and location of your logfile?
