Code:
man wall

DESCRIPTION
wall reads its standard input until an end-of-file. It then
sends this message to all currently logged-in users preceded
     by:

     Broadcast Message from ...

If your looking to send a msg to a specific person just use write

Code:
write pts/? I am going to write this to you
