MySQL Display lines 30 to 40 of a text file using head and/or tail commands

Assume that the text file contains over 40 lines. How do you do this?!?!?

Well my friend it goes like this .. head -40 gives you first 40 lines of file and then pipe with tail -10 give you last 10 line of previous output. ..
line 30 to 40 wallaaa.. !!!

tail +30 file | head
head -40 file | tail

(the default number for tail and head is 10)

tail -30 takes tail the file from the 30th line from the end of the file
tail +30 takes tail the file from the 30th line from the beginning of the file
